La Feria Internacional del Aire y del Espacio, FIDAE, con más de 40 años de trayectoria, es una exhibición dedicada a presentar tecnologías en materia Aeroespacial, Defensa y Seguridad. De esta forma posiciona a Chile como un referente en América Latina, y a la Fuerza Aérea de Chile como un actor relevante del sector de la Tecnología Espacial y su contribución al desarrollo nacional, siendo la Feria la principal plataforma para difundir diversas tecnologías en materias Aeroespaciales, Industriales, y Científicas.
La importancia del Pabellón Espacial es que busca conglomerar todas las temáticas e intereses espaciales que estarán en la muestra, con la finalidad de reforzar esta área que emplea tecnología de vanguardia.
Un actor importante será la Asociación Chilena del Espacio (ACHIDE), que, desde la visión civil, atraerá una gran convocatoria relacionada con los temas de este rubro. Esta Asociación tiene como objetivo la promoción, protección y difusión de las actividades vinculadas al espacio y al desarrollo de toda clase de actividades satelitales, velando por la correcta aplicación y perfeccionamiento de las políticas públicas y privadas en la materia, y especialmente incentivar el estudio y el uso de la ciencia y tecnología espacial en beneficio de un desarrollo sostenible de la humanidad.
Algunas de las compañías u organizaciones nacionales que participarán son: Esri; Globalsat; Grupo de Operaciones Espaciales y el Servicio Aerofotogramétrico de la Fuerza Aérea; KnowHub; Raster 4; Tesacom; Universidad de Chile; Universidad de Concepción y Universidad Mayor. En tanto las internacionales son: la Agencia Espacial de la República de Checa; Engineering and Software Systems Solutions (ES3); Hughes Network; Planet Labs; Satlantis de España y SES Satellites de Países Bajos. En total, serán más de 20 compañías distribuidas en 300 metros cuadrados que formarán parte de este Pabellón Temático.
SPACE PAVILION, A MEETING PLACE FOR STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY AT FIDAE 2024
It will be in Hall D, where several companies will exhibit their progress, which will be on display from April 9 to 14 on the north side of the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, in Santiago, Chile.

With more than 40 years of trajectory, the International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE, is an exhibition dedicated to present technologies in Aerospace, Defense, and Security. This allows to position Chile as a referent in Latin America, and the Chilean Air Force as a relevant stakeholder in the Space Technology sector and its contribution to national development. The Fair is the main platform to spread a variety of technologies in Aerospace, Industrial, and Scientific matters.
The importance of the Space Pavilion is that it seeks to gather all the space interests and themes that will be on exhibition at the Fair, with the aim of reinforcing this area that uses state-of-the-art technology.
The Chilean Space Association (ACHIDE by its acronym in Spanish), will be an important actor, which, from the civil point of view, will attract a big audience related to this field. ACHIDE’s goal is to promote, protect, and spread activities related to the space and the development of all kinds of satellite activities. All this, while ensuring the correct application and improvement of public and private policies on this matter, and especially encouraging the study and use of science, and space technology in benefit of a sustainable development of mankind.
